on 14 July 2011 by Franco Pagetti
Franco Pagetti's "Carcel de Mujeres" or "Women's Prison" in English is a story that takes place in Bogotá, Cundinamarca, Colombia. Pagetti was granted access to a prison that housed women who had been sentenced or were awaiting trial on charges ranging from drug trafficking, rebellion, being part of a guerrilla faction, and other crimes. A unique aspect of the prison is that in certain areas or "Patios" the women are allowed to have their children with them.
